Maga Bo Interview and Mix on Spannered

This is a painting (gifted by Mirissa, thanks!) that I found at the "Hippy Fair" here in Rio. Sort of hidden amongst tons of other romanticised images of favelas being sold, the subversion and irreverence of this one really caught my eye. "Sponsored by the Ministério do Trabalho." Painting by Paulo Paes Melo.

There's an interview with me by my man Al Fresco from Spannered who swooped in from São Paulo to chat with me a bit and also connect with my peoples over at AfroReggaeDigital in Parada de Lucas. You can also check my mix that I originally made for Radio Luz Poland bumped there.

Hey Bo,

I was just listening to the mix and noticed a really interesting sound that comes in at 4:00. Is that a cell-phone interfering with a speaker? If so, brilliant move!

ah! That is from the intro to Badder dan who by SiBot featuring Teba. But, yes, it does sound a bit like a cell phone.
